Caroline has been taking photographs all her life, a passion which has been inherited from her father and his before him. .
"I started taking pictures as soon as I was allowed to hold one of Dad's cameras. (He is still a bit protective of them even now!). Some of my earliest memories are of watching him develop photos in our home dark room. This was a tiny cupboard made in the back of the wardrobe in my bedroom, leading into the loft space (not Narnia, unfortunately). I would sit patiently watching the images magically appear on the paper, bathing in chemicals. I felt very important being in charge of depressing the metal lever to the stopclock. When the smell or cramp got the better of me I would find something else to do."
She studied Photography as part of her Honours Degree in Creative Arts .
She is a qualified Art Teacher, and before becoming a professional photographer, worked with a wide range of young people aged from 0 -18, over the past 10 years. She has two young children of her own.
Combining this creativity with her natural affinity with children results in the capture of beautiful, natural moments of wonder. Beautiful portraits to treasure.
